Park City's own Ted Ligety takes the gold in Sochi alpine skiing.
Ted Ligety established a huge first-run lead and then comfortably held on to win the giant slalom at the Sochi Games on Wednesday, becoming the first American man to win two Olympic gold medals in Alpine skiing. Cade&Co, a Park City, Utah business, is proud of all the Park City Sochi Olympians that have been competed in the 2014 games.
Park City's own Joss Christensen takes the gold in Sochi slopestyle skiing.
Joss soared to gold in the sport's Olympic debut, posting a score of 95.80 yesterday. His US teammates, Gus Kenworthy and Nick Goepper, won the silver and bronze respectively, making it an American sweep. In addition, Devin Logan took silver in the women’s competition on Wednesday.
The sweep is the third for the U.S. in Winter Olympic history, joining men's figure skating in 1956 and men's halfpipe snowboarding in 2002.

Congratulations to Park City's own Sage Kotsenburg for taking home the first Olympic gold medal in Sochi.
Sage was one half of the American duo that swept the slopestyle competition.
Kotsenburg did so doing something he never before tried, a backside 1620 Japan maneuver.
