The Tour of Utah finished just outside the Cade&Co shop yesterday, August 9th. It was exciting to see all the riders and spectators. As usual, Park City did a great job in hosting this wonderful event.

Outside my shop door was the perfect place to see all the first finishers. Chris Horner was there with his teammates and family. They were gracious enough to accept a pair of my "I Love Bicycles" handmade baby shoes for their 7 month old baby boy.

Joe Dombrowski (Cannondale-Garmin) won the Tour of Utah on Sunday, as Lachlan Norris (Drapac Professional Cycling) took the final stage, a 125.5km leg starting and ending in Main Street in Park City.

TheStreet.com interviews Cade&Co during the Sundance Film Festival, Park City, Utah.

Jim Cramer's website, TheStreet.com's video producers, Rubin Ramirez and his assistant Sophie Bearman stopped by Cade&Co during the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.

Taking an interest in my new retail space and line of handcrafted baby shoes, they filmed this video, showcasing Cade&Co's design process and new studio/retail shop space off Main Street, in Park City, Utah.

While the trend for small businesses is to opt for a pure on-lline presence, Cade&Co chose a different path by opening a brick and mortar store. Here I can design, create, and meet with customers at the same time. They can see first-hand the quality and workmanship that goes into each pair of my shoes and leather accessories.

Located 136 Heber Ave. Park City, Utah.

Has the Sly Fox Replaced the Wily Owl?

baby fox fox fox baby shoes fox fashion fox new owl fox shoes owl woodland

After "Fantastic Mr. Fox" hit the big screen, owls seemed to invade children's apparel and home decor.

Then came "What Does the Fox Say?," which sealed the deal for fox fashion everywhere.

Cade&Co loves all things woodland, so we have created a new design, Sly Fox.

We were recently contacted by Laurel Heger, the author of the children's book "Fox and Rabbit's Garden," and "Fox and Rabbit's Cranberry Surprise," to work on a "story-on-a-shoe" concept.

These wonderful books are illustrated by Monette Pangan.

But don't just take our word for it: Jody Robbins seems to agree with the fox fashion take-over in her recent blog from last month.

What is next to come? Hedgehogs and porcupines?

Here at Cade&Co, we are hoping it is something that can be cut-out in tiny leather pieces.
